
A few colorful catalogues
I have begun procuring vegetable and flower seeds for the next growing season. While I am on several mailing lists and receive many colorful seed catalogues, the company that gets most of my seed business is Seeds Trust. They have no colorful catalog and their new website upgrade gave me fits but I still prefer to do business with them. They specialize in high altitude gardening and the seeds I’ve purchased from them have performed well. One time I could not get romaine lettuce seeds to germinate. When I inquired with a quick email, they replaced my seeds immediately. Last last month I was in Phoenix visiting my daughter so I contacted the nice folks at Seeds Trust. Belle Star gave great directions to their “store” in Cornville. Bill greeted me and, even though he was clearly very busy, took as much time as was required to help me select seeds. Most of the selection I ended up buying were varieties with which I already had experience. Bill was very knowledgeable about each variety of seed that was stocked in the small building which, he was pleased to note, was built of additive free adobe. www.seedstrust.com
